Before starting your degree
The Orientation Phase
…is an introductory week for you and the others, designed to keep you on your toes and give you a better understanding of Stuttgart, student life and the university. There are lots of great events in store for you, some on campus and others in the city. Even before lectures begin, the first events of our orientation phase will take place. With even more activities, the first week of lectures will be an unforgettable experience! Among other things, we’ve planned a city tour, a running group and a Ladies’ Night for our first-year female students. Of course, there’ll also be plenty of information sessions on how to use the university portals C@mpus and ILIAS.
In our O-Calendar, you’ll find information about the activities on offer during the induction week. There, you’ll also have the chance to register for these events. At the current time this page is only available in german, try f.ex. a firefox extension for auto translation. The invitation to the events is also for english speaking students even if the description is in german.
The O-Guide
In addition to these activities, we’ve put together lots of helpful information about studying at the University of Stuttgart in this digital O-Guide. Here you’ll also find some information that might be of interest to you even before you start your studies and which we hope will be of help. Feel free to have a look around.
