Going out

If you want to explore Stuttgart’s nightlife, we highly recommend our pub crawl as part of the O-Phase. On the tour, we’ll show you some of the many pubs Stuttgart has to offer.

The ‘Kneipenquartett’ is also a great way to get to know the local pub scene. It contains vouchers for all sorts of pubs, clubs, cafés and bars, and is available at the Wittwer on Schlossplatz.

Parties

Parties are among the highlights of everyday university life, especially the big university festivals! For example, there’s our Mechanical Engineering Festival, the UNO, Biohazard, eMotions, Spacenight, the Business Studies Festival and many more. There are also plenty of halls-of-residence parties you can pop along to.

Eating out

Why not explore one of the many cafés or restaurants in and around Stuttgart? There are often after-work specials. It’s not just the city centre that has something to offer here. There’s also a good selection in Stuttgart South and West.

If you’d rather have a barbecue, there are plenty of public barbecue areas. For example, in the woods just north of the Vaihingen campus, in the Kräherwald or at the Rotwildpark.
